Are you looking into a Personal Response Systems (PRS), or Questioning Clickers for your lectures?

If so you will find this research relevant and interesting.

The verdict is, as I understand it, is that students like them and think they contribute to learning retention, but the research only shows short term individual learning outcomes benefit.

Do you have research reflecting otherwise?  Have you experienced advanced individual learning outcomes by using them?
